Pucci Fall 2010: RTW is really RTW!

Oh, Pucci, how I love thee; let me count the ways....

  1. Your imaginative use of color- while purple and black dominate; splashes of lime green and fire engine red are thrown throughout.
  2. The choices of fabric for your flowing and slouchy frocks
  3. The fact your designs are classic AND modern at the same time.
  4. Your fall 2010 ready to wear line truly is ready to wear. So, some of us can't afford Pucci; the looks are sure to be trend setting and I will say, extremely ready to wear.
Let's take a looksee, shall we?

Modern twist on the LBD. Zipper running down the dress adds some edge, while the mock turtleneck leaves something to the imagination. The high neck will camouflage any insecurities you have about your upper body while highlighting those legs!

Classic, Classic, Classic!
A wet black leather trench is chic and smart; especially paired with a pair of contrasting color wide leg trousers. This one is a pick for all the ladies.

Some don't dig the fur vest trend that's happening right now; well this one could be for you. It may not really be *fur* per se, but it does look warm and fuzzy! Throw this on with a dark purple silk blouse and dark trousers. Slimming, sexy, and stunning. Another pick for most body types. Just please review my vest post, here, so that you know which cut best suits you.

My favorite of the runway? It's for sure this mini dress (or tunic, to some!). It's classic Pucci with the design and color. Pair a look like this for the cold months with some sleek black leggings or tights and an awesome black pair of booties or pumps. Good to go.

What should be in your closet to complete these looks-
  • Black or dark grey trousers
  • Purple blouse
  • Black or dark grey fuzzy vest
  • Black trench
  • Light grey wide legged trousers
  • Colorful tunic or mini dress, preferably in purple- although Pucci did display a white and black patterned one, as well.
  • Black tights
  • An edgy little black dress

My final thoughts? I love Pucci, always have and always will. Peter Dundas, well done sir.
